Had an accident whilst out in the snow, I slid into a roundabout doing about 30 and caused quite a lot of damage. Up to now I need 2 new wheels on driver’s side, steering rack, bottom arm and much more. It’s not been on a ramp yet so I’m not sure of the full extent of damage I’ll post some pictures up tonight. Is anyone breaking a 6n2 similar to mine with front end intact?

Yea think the snow is catching quite allot of us out. Here’s the pics they don’t really do it much justice but it gives you an idea btw my steering was set straight forward in the pics, well meant to be.

Cheers for the offer on the hella’s but think I’m keeping them for now.

I know the pics don’t look too bad but I think it may be worse than it looks for a start the suspension strut doesn’t look straight :?

mwbpsx are you thinking of investing in some ov the 286’s from ultraleds ?

Need some advice if anyone can help. A mechanic had a look at my car last night and said my track rod end is bent that was one of my problems, also my front wheel has an outward camber but he cannot tell what is causing this until he takes some parts off anyone know what could be causing this Another thing is my rear, he says there is a part that holds the rear wheel/bearing on with 4 bolts? He seems to think this would have taken the damage not the axle? Anyone got any ideas

Thanks in advance

Spoke to my mechanic before he is picking up a new tracking rod and end tomorrow and fitting it, does anyone have any idea what else may be causing the camber on my front wheel ?

sorry i cant help u on the mechanical side, however after reading ur progress thread i must just say..... thank you

i got angel eyes on my car to and were thinking about how dim the small bulbs look and now u showed those leds u brought i might have to invest in some to..... also i to have brought a 6000k hid kit, altho yours does look slightly different to mine....

did urs have a starter in the pack? int he instructions it says abotu a starter but i dont have them in my set so was wondering if u only need these for certain sets.

sorry about the crash but it could of been worst so luckily it dont look to bad.

are ur full beam bulbs the standard ones? my motors dont work properly on mine either, they move slightly but i havnt got them alligned yet. luckily it passed the mot tho.

there is a quick way u can roughly do the beam allignment on ur own to.

mwbpsx, u maganed to drive an ambulance into ur car? now that is wat i call some serious bad luck.... driving it into a car is one thing, but then realising its ur car.......... that just cant be funny!!!!!

p.s. think u should get a gti splitter to... think that will look good.

good to see more people using angel eyes... i think theyre nice cause theyre different.

Cheers for the comments kipper, do you drive a MK5 also ? No my kit didn’t have any starters I’m sure they will be integrated into the ballast. I have standard 55w halogen bulbs in my main beam it does the job ok but HID’s would be allot better. Have been thinking about a gti splitter that’s last on my list now though  .

p.s think my led mod’s are catching on lol :D
