New Wing Mirror

Hey yall

As is listed in the common mods section, I want to replace the ridiculas looking drivers wing mirror on the car, but I'm struggling to find OEM one that is the same as the passengers side one.

Can any of you point me in the right direction of getting one? on ebay or other sellers? Also Im pretty sure the GTi's come as standard with heated and electric so need to be that too

Been on the German site but erm my german is nicht so gut

eBay.de is the best place really. Search around til you find one that looks the job and ask them in basic english. It took me 15 mins to find an English speaking seller when I bought mine. And that cost £38 delivered!

You don't want a LHD stubby. They're designed for the driver sitting about 5 feet away from the mirror. You can't adjust the glass enough to see properly when you're 2 feet away from the mirror

You do want a RHD stubby. They're designed for the driver sitting about 2 feet away from the mirror.

I've got a LHD stubby and never had any problems with it.

If you do encounter problems however, the best option is to purchase the LHD stubby from germany (as it's the cheapest option) then get RHD stubby glass. the dealers will charge you more than double for a RHD stubby.
