help with my TT comps

my TT comps are still shinyy but theyve got like little black speckles on them that have been there since the previous owner he used the autoglym metal polish and i used it once aswel and im not sure if its that, thats leaving a residue =S wanted to know if its possible to get rid of them??

it sounds like pitting, this is like corrosion of the alloy.

it will polish out i would've though, unless its deep then you will have to sand it back and then repolish.

i c i cc ill try next time try n polish it out, as i just poloshed them today. i think some of it does come off because it just looks like its on the surface..

Is it not just tar? If you can get some pic up we would know better
