Has it come away in the engine bay? iirc there are a few point along the line where it is joined.

Do search a few people have posted up over the winter about this mate

No problem, I find if you get someone to use the rear wash while you check for a leak is the best way

Most common place is the pipe comes off just under the battery / airbox. Nice and awkward.

There's also a join in the boot, behind the carpet on the left hand (passenger) side. We've had that and the engine bay join both pop over the winter, just waiting for the join in the tailgate to complete the set...

Best to use 100% screewash mix - any added water can freeze, expand, and pop these joints.

Great looks like i need lady hands to get into those tight spots in the engine bay.. i thought replacing the bulbs was hard enough, that was a nightmare!

Exactly what's just happened to mine. Water pours out from under the car when I try to use the rear washer. Fronts are fine though.

Can you give me a rough idea how to get to the pipe? I've had a quick look but I can't even see it, let alone get to it.

Thanks. :)

the other place is in the tail gate lads and it's where it is most likely to have come off and it is an inherant problem of the polo and the golf, you will need to pull the plastic cover off the tailgate being carefull not to break any clips easily done if gung hu. once its out of the road you will see where the pipe should be you will need to get a small petrol pipe type clip so you can tighten this back on again. hope this helps as I have had this problem several times till I fixed it myself. The connection on the left handside of the boot under the protective carpet is another problem as it is just a clip fit again use two petrol pipe clips to tighten them up to stop this from happening again
