Hi josh, thought i'd ask here instead of cluttering up the other forum.

Do they still only insure modded cars for people over 21?

My boyfriend is insured with Adrian Flux for his 20vt mk1 cabby and he's really impressed with them. Says they gave the best deal and they've been great. If I keep on modding my olop I may need to give them a bell! Mine will start adding up otherwise!

Karl: The bloke I spoke to said they were good for young, modified and convicted.

You'll have to give them a call.

Young - check
Modified - check
Convicted - check
Insured with Adrian Flux - check

They can't be as bad as the last company I was with, and they gave me the best quote out of the companies i tried, and my mods are insured too. Check this when you get quotes, lots of companies will take more money off you if your car is modded but your mods aren't insured. So, if someone nicks your alloys, your insurance company will give you steelies. Nice.

Ok, I'll give a bell.

Its just when i was ringing for RAS they said they wouldnt insure THAT car until i was 21 (may be due to the level of mods come to think if it)

anyways

top banana for sorting the discount!

Once again Josh saves the day. .

I gave them a bell, remembering im 23 yrs old and the car (gti) has only been lowered and some 17" thrown on.

They quoted me £450 Fully comp ! and its fully protected, i can have 2 claims in 3 years and it wont effect my no claims !!

not bad

Me:

23 years old (just)
3 years no-claims
1 x SP50
no modifications
Insured with Adrian Flux = £1,047 fully comp
