Custom Coded :-) Video and one pic lol

Post by KennyPOLO_Gti »

Well was off today so took my car to the nearest Custom Code dealer. Wasn't happy with my APR remap, especially since i couldnt keep up with a Ibiza 1.8T the other day (Remap, Induction, and D.V!). So guy took my car out this morning and logged everything through VAGCOM and sent the results away to CC along with a list of my mods and told me to come back 3 hrs later. So arriving back i was excited to see if there would be any difference, but thinking dont get your hopes up kenny! Well the guy put the new map on and took it out a spin with the VAGCOM again, when he was pulling away from the garage he put the foot down and a was left standing there with the biggest smile ever, it looked and sound quicker!!! Well he got back, i squared him up then it was my shot :D :D :D :D :D :D What a Fooking difference!! Night and day  Now i feel my turbo kicking where it never before, and when it kicks in, it fooking kicks in    !!! The roar off the Milltek is amazing, total head turner!!!! :P

Been raining all day here so 1st 2nd and 3rd is just wheel spins when the turbo kicks in so looking forward to the dry weather, think i'll need to get clutch & flywheel done soon!

312mm set up is going on tomorrow, standard really arent up to it anymore! :|

I cant recommend them enough!! I love my polo again!! :-)

Mind that feeling when you get your car mapped from standard to stage one, its like that feeling again!! Been looking through forums, and ppl with similar mods are gettin 230-240 bhp, and it doesnt feel far off! Will get a vid up soon of a 0-60 etc when it drys up. Too much wheel spin the now

I got mine de-cated lastweek chris, so will be running the same as you apart from the induction i think :? My lamda is out the car, told them that too at CC.

Jeff, who knows what happened with the APR remap, only difference was i got the standard fuel stage 2 (why i dont know) but we have the same mods pretty much apart from the N75J valve, which mine wouldnt run with which i found strange?? Gonna fit the J valve again tomorrow but i honestly dont think it will need it as i think the K03s is at its limit.

With my APR map I knew it wasnt right when i couldnt keep up with a Ibiza like i said before and i couldnt get away from a peugot 206 180gti (been chipped, but still should pull away no probs) and a clio 182!!!!

With stage one i could get 145mph (on a track) no worries flat out, but when stage two was on my engine was screaming at me at 135!!! :(

Anyways all has worked out now and am getting my 312mm brakes on tomorrow then i need to get a new clutch next month :-)

Pics to follow :D

Nice one Kenny... so you went for some STRONGER programming after all... told you that would be a good idea...

its amazing the difference between lets say 1.1 bar and 1.4 bar .. as you say they go like fook..

Good to hear that your frustrations might be over..

Hopefully the roads will be dry today... and you can go have some fun.. hehehe
