Help with Lowering?

Hello! I have a 1996 MK4 Polo with 15" Alloys!
Can anybody give me any recommendation on how far to lower it? I was thinking 40-60mm?

I would go with 60+. If it was my 6N, I'd see it at least 80-90mm

Cheers for the Input! Anyone had there car lowered 40-60mm and have any pictures?
