Bodyshop sounds like a interesting set of jobs there!

Are you relocating the siderepeaters or not? Just bear in mind this can cause complications in certain scenarios at MOT time :(

Yeh I love Moderlines. Looking nice. What sized tyres are you opting for?

erm its currently got 195/45/15 on them but u cnt even say its got stretch on it so tomoro it will be strecthed with bridgstone rubber, i think they are 165/50/15 they have nice strecth on them.

as for the siderepeaters would it be a headache at mot??

Yeh it won't pass MOT without them. I'd go with nankang 185/45s mate. They're safer than 165/50s. I'm in the same place as you at the moment. I also have 8s on 195/45s and want more out of the tyre. But I think 165/50 just gets a little too thin. I'm riding 165/50s on 6s at the moment and they spin enough.

Here's 165 on an 8. They're just too thin to drive safe and look nice IMO

And here's 185, much better suited. Spoken to someone who shifted from 195/45s to these and says the difference is much better

It's been done before. Ian R used to ride them with his Cups. I just wouldn't do them myself, as you can see in the first pic it's quite a stretch.

I just mean that there's less point of contact with the road so they don't grip as well as 195s or 185s.

They'll solve any arch issues though! I'm guessing your running the same as me? 8X15 ET25? meaning you get a fair amount of scrubbage 8)

15X8 ET25 is the perfect stance. It just takes work to get it there! My plan is get 185s on, and re shape the rear arch liners, to make them accompany the wheels more. Then if it still doesn't work I'll be onto arch rolling.

Will be interesting to see how you get on with the 165s. I reckon it would give the perfect amount of tuck.

my plan is just to go low and wider as possible as i can. so once the tyres are fitted tomoro on firday i booked the arch flaring so once that is done i will get a pair of spacers
