BMC CDA's

Post by 6n2si »

I see alot of people on here have these on their cars, are they worth it? Take it they might be worth a couple of bhp? Got the option of buying one for £100, just looking for opinions, I already have a K&N panel filter.

Cheers guys.

Yeh all about the noise. sounds amazing. I know you may think it's hard to justify for th price. But you really won't regret it.

I had one then sold it on due to insurance costs when I looked into it further, and in the end I drilled a few select 10mm holes at the back of the original airbox while also smoothing the interior of it also after some research and put a second cold air feed from the grill upto the holes to prevent heat soak.

Works like a dream with no performance issues but she does seem to rev a lot easier/smoother now which is a bonus and the noise is really nice too.
