60/40 kit and headlights question.
what does a 60/40 kit look like? i think it would lok too high at the back? can you guys post some pics please. also can you adjust the leavel of the headlights? im sure mine are too low and hit the road infornt too cose to the car. dont seem to light up much further ahead. cheers peeps

Adjusting the headlights on the GTI is a complicated procedure. Basically, they are self levelling, so if you dont put them in learning mode before you adjust them, they will just go back to the exact same position they were before. You need vag com to do this, so its best taken to a garage that has a headlight levelling machine and access to vag-com too.
As for a 60/40 kit it would look fine as the rear shocks are in fact shorter than the front - thats why its 60/40 as the rear doesnt need to be so low to be level with the front.

cool.....still wouldnt mind a few pics to see how it looks. im only on standard 15s too....how much we looking at for the headlight realignment?

If you have a nice VW dealer, its normally free, but it can be up to £30. Really depends who you know!
