yeaaaa 6000k it iss!! now what headlights are you using because im not sure if i should get gti headlamps or angel eyes as i have seen a really nice pair not with the tacky yellow dim rings i saw but some ice white ones ill get a pic soon and say your ideas

Another difference between 6k and 8k if I'm not mistaken, is that 8k doesn't produce as good a projection (if I'm using the correct terminology) compared to 6k. What are your guys thoughts? Also, when it comes to bulbs, standard H7's or Anti-glare H7R's?

Get 6000k, it's optimum temperature. 8000k+ although bluer isn't brighter.

i have had hid's in the past, always the untimate kits from hids4u and have to ay i have been disapointed every time, i have had 4 sets on 2 different cars

poor quality light dispersion on the road, the loss of beam pattern precision, parts failing, flickering on start up etc and the most annoying, if you look really closely in to the lights, they are both different colours, due to the lights being fed from 1 main bank, 1 gets a slightly and i do mean slightly higher power to it, making 1 look more blue and 1 look more yellow

even though only slight, when you notice it, youll never be able to forget about it

personally, i will now choose upgraded xenon gas filled halogens

i use philips extreme powers at the minute and they have been spot on, nice crisp white light at night, but am looking for something with that hid tinge to it, like the philips blue visions for when it comes time to replace them

did the ring sportz actually give out a blue-ish light ?? lol cos most of the bulbs which say they give out a blue tint dont its just white.

I've had these bulbs on my last 2 cars and never had a problem with them. They arn't really "blue" like they say but create a lot more light and from a few certain angles, they have a blue tint
