This is my first post on this forum, I've been sorting out my girlfriends 1.2S lately, she has had a couple of problems, the infamous leaking rear window washer "It's never worked since I've had it!" (she's had it for a year
...). Queue lots of mold scraping and scrubbing of carpets to remove the funky smell (it had gone at the joint right above the electrical connectors in the side of the boot) anyway, on with my current problem...I had replaced both headlight bulbs back in January (a painful job), in the dark, with a mobile phone for illumination, with some sleet thrown in.... and the nearside one went cloudy after a bit, I thought it was just condensation, but after a look on Sunday it appears that the bulb had slipped backwards and melted the plastic mount/clip thingy, and the cloudyness was in fact smoke residue, Oh Dear! So I have ordered a new unit, and I'll get some bulbs aswell, I'm just asking if anyone has replaced a headlamp before and has any advice on how to do it??? Because I don't think these Polos were designed to be worked on....
