Introducing Myself and my GTi.

Post by Dutch GTi »

Hey there Polo freaks!
I'd like to introduce myself.

I'm Elmar, I'm 20 years old.
And I come from The Netherlands, and I also live there! :P
And lately (December '08) I've bought a VW Polo 6n2 GTi.

I've customized it a bit, but she's still far from ready!

Here's a little list of what I've allready done to my car, and what's still going to happen.

Things I've done:
* New Rims; Ronal Turbo R10.
* Lowered Suspension; VMAXX.
* Smoked side-indicators.

And that's about it for now.
But here are the things i'm still going to do!

To do list:
* Red GTi strip on the front grill.
* VW logo's painting in black.
* Expand my wheelarches because of my rims. They're wider as usual. (without any expanding adapters)
* VW Golf 5/6 GTi Exhaust. (the double one)
* Audio System
- Polk Momo rear speakers
- Polk Momo front speakers
- Polk Momo subwoofer
- 2 signat amplifiers
- 1 Signat capacitor
- 1 Matrix tv screen
This is what I've allready got.

And that's about it!
If I've forgotten something I'll come back at it!

Here are some pictures with my new rims, and lowered suspension.
But the suspension has now been adjusted, because it was too low at the front, and too high at the back.
So if I've got some new pictures, they will be posted soon!

So what I would say: Enjoy of my ride!

The audio installation, what's going into my GTi. (This is my ex-ride btw.)

I hope you liked it!

Elmar.

Ooh like that! :roll:
No not really...
What my plans are, is that i'm going to just cutg some wood in the shape of my trunk.
And then i'm going to build my woofer and amps and capacitor in it.
And maybe i'll build a sort of a box, where my amps are going into, and cover it with plexiglass.
And the wood will be covered with leather, or with something else.

But I'll make a blueprint for you, and if I got it, i'll post it in this topic!!

But i'm not quiet sure where i've got to install my LCD screen. It must come near the drivers seat. But i'm not quiet sure where...
Do you've got any suggestions?!

Does someone know the colorcode for the red polo gti?
Because I want to spray my front grill... But i'm not sure which code it is.
And I don't want to spray something like orange! :P

It was beautiful weather today, so I decided to wash my car...
And now the evening starts to fall, my rims are still shiny like a baby bum! :lol:

Yo mates!

Just got my tyres shiny with tire shine!! :lol:
Because I had a flat tyre, I got all of my Ronal Turbo rims off, and replaced them (for a couple of days) for my BBS Stock rims. And I just bought tyre shine, so I decided to put it on!

Some of the results:

The shine did a good job!
For so far! :P

Next Sunday or Monday the Ronals will be back on the Polo again!

Ooh and btw... I got my BBS's done aswell! :lol:
