Mine are £40 +£3 delivery. I convert them with OEM guts of a normal aerial and a few bits to tweek, as the ones direct from VW are not compatible as belong to the GOlf which work differently as they use the quadlock system not the ISO.

Rear of the headliner has to be dropped to access the 22mm nut and aerial plug

Dont come on this site often as I have a Lupo GTI so sorry for late replies.

@dkny2789 - Will PM in a moment

@JeffGTI - I cant get seperate plugs as I order batches for each shark fin from VW (all parts used per fin) and you had said you had modified it yourself to fit. I had asked for you to check your aerial before I made one up, but you did not want to look under your roof panel to confirm which of the two you had so I went out of my way to check my mums Polo Mk7 Dune which had the purple plug and you agreed that was what to go for.........not my fault as I did try, sorry.

If I managed to find a spare lead I will get back to you, otherwise there is not much I can do

so check your plugs guys, because if you get it wrong, your on your own, or so it seems

43 quid for fin that that looks good, but does not give reception is pretty crap in my opinion, even with the correct plug fitted to it

@Jeff - You were the only Mk7 Polo I have done which is why I asked you to check your connectors and you did not. Sorry the risk you took did not pay off, but I did try and help as much as I could.

----------------------------------------

Not trying to defend myself as I dont do this as a business and use all original VW parts, as did it for myself until other people wanted the same done to their cars.

As mentioned on other forums I use, the reception will never be as perfect as the original bee-sting aerial, and will work better with a booster (required for aftermarket units anyway) and the extra aerial lead I provide where your beesting can be attached and then located above the roof lining can help increase reception, but it is a compromise between the style and function as weaker signals will be a little fuzzy but have no real issues in mine.
