went out today with some mates from another forum and got some pics of the car, these are only what i got, but i had freshly detailed the car with the g220 over the past week and it was gleaming like a new penny at the time
after giving the car some serious abuse on the way home today playing with a lot of cars it should not be even entertaining, i have decided to go for the bigger rear brakes on the rear next, the fronts are awesomely efficient (as im sure alex gti will agree) on their own, but the rears will stop nose dive
after that, im planning on getting the front end resprayed to lose the stone chips and a general tidy up on a few bits im not happy with
grapo, i have never seen another car in the flesh with the tinted plates so unless the law says so, they are staying, they are subtle and not offensive, plus they are a legal font and size, possibly why i have never had issues with them
silver front badge, i have both so tend to just swap between them tbh, but just for you, tyomorrow ill put the silver one back in
alex, brakes are awesome, rear brakes too will be even better, tbh i was a bit dissapointed with how car looked, it was below its standards when you seen it to be honest, all dusty from it being used all day etc etc
it is going in to the bodyshop soon to get rid of all the stone chips up the front end, will be having the bumper and the bonnet painted and blended in to the wings, plus a blue motion lower front valance fitting and painting too
i have also bought paint and primer, and im re finishing my forge rear strut brace in to gloss black from the rather naffly "polished" finish what it comes in, which is all marked and milky, theres also a few bare metal brackets in the engine bay that ill be painting gloss black to keep it looking fresh and as new too
all small bits really but costly, but keep up the oem+ i suppose
