GTi hopefully. Going to see one on saturday, maybe go for a spin - although i'm already sold tbh! :D
Got to see how much money i'm gonna get back for mine so I can work out how much extra I will need to put in.
I've found that the GTi's have come down in price due to the current financial situation but the smaller engine cars seem to be holding their prices. More affordable I guess!

Don't worry, I'm not pushing for it (against the advice of others). They know I have whiplash but i'm not going to exaggerate it like some do. I'm not going to say i'm fine when i'm not though. Would anyone?!

U pay insurance reason so ur entitled to claim if ur hurting, or damaged ur motor etc!

U claiming wont affect us at all as we will still need insurance lol, Go for it! its there for a reason! N it will help ur money situation aswell and provide u with that o so tempting gti!

I can see where you were coming from Chris, but not claiming for genuine injuries is like accepting a lower offer for my car - and that aint gonna happen! :o

Hey all, been to the repair centre this morning and saw her one last time today (little tear)
Managed to get the stereo
Cubby box for dash
Rain deflectors
Tax disc (got 4 months to claim back)
Fog lights (which weren't standard)
Reg plate surrounds
The 3 lower grilles - slight damage where they skidded across the road, but I think I can sort them!
All adding up to around £450-£500!! :-D

Talked to VW salesman about possible replacement car but gotta get some money through before I can commit to anything.

Nope! They made an offer last wednesday and i've not heard anything back yet :x

The courtesy car company are pressurising me to hurry things along now and accept an offer as they are claiming the costs from the 3rd party.
So what?! I'm as keen to get rid of the crappy corsa as they are to have it back! LOL

The sooner they make me a worthy offer, the soon I get ma G T iiiiiii!

Chris, i'll probably enjoy it a bit 1st, save up for coilies then think about wheels later on when my bank balance recovers!
Thanks though!

Haha, that cracked me up

Any visions regarding what you're going to do with the GTi as far as mods go? Either way, if you're last car was anything to go by, I'm sure this will look really good once you'ved worked your magic on it :)

Hey ya Ash. I really don't know yet.
I've gotta hammer down some overdraft 1st before I can do much tbh.

I've got the honeycombe lower grilles already, the cubby dash, rain deflectors and the stereo
Looking into full leather interior but that might not happen for a few months.
Definitely like to get it lowered
Couple of cosmetic tweaks like stubby aerial and blank off lock barrels

Alot later on I may consider a change of wheels and if i'm brave enough, a remap!

I've just seen this thread.. :(

Sh*t drivers are always on the road and it happens to the best of us... Just treat everyone like an idiot!!
As long as you've got your health, it's good! Cars are only metal..

Plus you're getting some of that GTi metal... hehe
