New Seats

Any1 know if boxster seats fit into a 9n?? I know frames are going to have to be made up to bolt them in place, but will they fit in the space??

Much work in bolting them in place??

They've also got heating pads and are electric.... but the prev oner didnt have them wired up, but the wiring is still there under the seat. How could i wire them in??

What car are they in now? Asking for measurements would be the easiest way and then compare those with your seats...sorry if you find what I said overly obvious, but it's what I'd do

Regarding the heating and electrics, that'd be harder. Not sure about wiring up the electrical adjustment, but for seat heating, youd need the dash switches and have to make a loom up....sounds more trouble than it's worth really.

Although then again, I reckon you could get it to work by building a simple straight forward loom...would need more details though like amperage, etc...wiring diagrams would help to if you can get hold of any?

It wouldn't tap into the factory wiring, so it's not OEM or plug and play, but I reckon it could be done relatively easy. It wouldn't be hard to make it look OEM either if you can get hold of some OEM heated seat controls.

Came from a mk3 golf.

Hes forwarding me more pics and dimensions tomorrow.

My only other concern is 1 of the swtiches has come off the drivers seat.... rekon it would be an expensive part from porsche??

They still move forwards and tilt, but you cant adjust the angle of the seats wiht them being electrical.

Where are these seats for sale at? I can remember reading about two one with the drivers side switch missing this week and its doin me head in lol
