I think so too.
I considered the black, red or white - not that I don't like the silver or shadow blue, I just think the 3 colours look more 'GTi-like' to me.

I love the brightness of the red,the dark stealth of the black, but I just couldn't resist the white in the end. Bit lairy and shows off the features of grilles etc really well.
Let's see if I still feel like that when i'm washing it every other day!

I'm sure you'll be brave enough for a remap....

Better easier more comfortable drive with the possibility of better MPG ... you know it makes sense ...

Oh yes .. and it also goes faster ... so more fun .. and safer .. like you can get out of the way of idiots easier..

Now you just have to be patient... waiting for the payout ...

Replacement confirmed! :D

Drove down to Poole yesterday to look at the GTi (300 mile round-trip)
Took her out for a test drive...mmmmmm!!

I've pointed out a couple of little bits to the dealership such as a couple of stone chips in the front bumper, chip in the windscreen and small bit of scrub on 1 alloy. They have agreed to do all the work FOC ready for when I pick her up.

Took a few pics...i'll post 1 up and a link for the rest.....

Nice!! bet you can't wait!

TBH I'd much prefer a white car to clean rather than a black or darker car. It shows imperfections farrr less!

Thanks very much for letting me know. I remember your thread now!
Gonna speak to them tomorrow about it. They assured me there had been no problems when I asked why it had come in after 6k on the clock :x

Thanks again...another great reason to be a member on this site I guess!

Did it seem to be ok when you didn''t have the HID kit fitted?
Any chance it could've been a duff kit or something?
