Re: Are these the right Drop Links?

Hi guys,

I ordered these on Sunday night from ebay (aswell as some H&R lowering springs from the orange tuning shop)

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0147886696

Got them this morning, they look almost the same size as the ones already on!..(like the photos at the start of this thread)

Have i bought the wrong ones?? or are they just a fraction shorter and will actually make a difference??

Ali.

i think thats the ones i have, they seem abotu the same price i paid too, they looks slightly shorter than the ones i have though, but its probably just a universal pic, so i think thats the ones to go for guys, i have no knocking or rubbing at all and my coilovers are right down

Thanks for the replies guys. It's established my mate bought the correct ones, they're just generally not that much smaller than the OEM ones.

Heard alot of good things about them though so I think we'll try them out. And if there's still problems possibly look at the more expensive and smaller ones.

Yeh I spoke to J earlier, he said the mondeo ones work fine. Just a bit unsure as were going for a fully dropped stance.

Chris what's your ride height currently?

Anyone know if the ARB on the 1.2 and GTi are the same size? Because if the 1.2 one is smaller in diameter that'll also make a difference, and in our favour!
They are identical is shape size everything gents

the only difference between gti suspension and the rest of the pack is the springs lower the car by approx 15mm everything else is the same shockers, arb, wheel bearings etc only the hub is different for the bigger discs.
