Yesterday i was trying to change my headlight bulbs as one had stopped working. I managed to change one over easily enough however the other one would not fasten back in properly. It is in the correct way (with the little sticky out bit pointing the right way) however it doesnt seem to fasten in as securely as the other.
Now is there a nack to fitting these bulbs as the other seemed to go in with a bit of twisting and pushing but i cant get this other one in for the life of me....
i had the same problem. i just pushed mine hard untill it di it.
but like you said a bit of twisting n pushing as long as you have the point in the right way it should go.
Being a total newbie to all this, I was trying to fit in some xenons, it didn't work out so took it to the garage who quoted me £35.
How do you guys change the bulbs, they claim that the battery needs to come out for them to fit them

i jus fitted my hids the other day yeh theres the black clip where the headlights bulbs are which are twisted to lock/ release the bulb . the left side on mine took longer and a bit more effort to fit and lock properly you just gota keep tryin like they said.
about the battery having to come out thats a new one... the only thing to do with the battery is disconnecting it whilst you change the bulbs. a found the hayne manual quite useful when changin the headlights as it did help and had some pictures,

Makes it much easier
That sounds like a plan!!

mate personally taking the bumper of is probably the best way to go about it. its not so hard tbh. i changed them once without takign it out and the bulb on the battery side didnt lock in place corectly ended up burning the inside of the headlight over a week which i then had to go and replace.
