Charlie probs happen with cars aslong as you've got that warrenty rapes the ass off the dealer until it runs out lol
never admit its been mapped they try that all the time if they cant fix it as a get out clause! i never admitted it had been mapped even though they even tried getting me friendly with a salesman to get it out of me LOL! In the end i fixed it as a dodgy air mass meter ! Oh and they used a quarter of my fuel which i had to rgue back! But now ive done so much to the car i think the warranty is out the window!! :P

Just checking in......although not much progress to report i'm afraid.

Still having a nightmare chasing the insurance company up everyday. :x

I got that original settlement offer back on the 3rd April.
I've been chasing a 2nd offer for the past 3 weeks and they kept saying they were "looking into it"
They managed to lose my documents (V5, cope of licence etc) in that time too.
Finally today, they tell me that I was never gonna get offered a higher settlement anyway so the past 3 weeks have been a complete waste of time.

I now have no courtesy car and no settlement money. I've demanded speaking to the manager in charge of the valuations department so i'll see what cr*p he comes out with tomorrow.

I just hate being without a car. Fortunately i've got a company van to get to and from work which helps - but no private mileage allowed...booo

Yeah I saw your thread (1st one commented)
Insurance procedure sucks - I've had to accept the offer now after 40mins of arguing with them today. They just wouldn't budge.
They're going to deduct my policy excess (£350) out of the settlement figure too, so thats something else i've gotta try and claim back with the solicitor :x
