Speaker Size?!?

Hello and good day to you all

I just got a lovely '94 mk 3 polo, start driving it tomorrow, can't wait!! ...but the question - i want to replace the standard door speakers and put some in the parcel shelf. Can anyone tell me what size speakers i should get for the doors? Someone told me they might be 5.25", is that right?

Mk3s dont have door speakers they are dash mounted. Are you referring to a Mk4 or 6n.

Aaaaaahhh. My fault sorry, i clearly know less than nothing It is a mark 4. Thanks very much if you can help

16.5/17cm or 6.5" is what you need for the doors mate!

Thanks very much mate, i thought i best check it as the guy from audio assault obviously didnt know what he was talking about!!! Im still gona buy their speakers though haha
