Brembo brake upgrade?

Post by alexperkins »

Hi All

Im looking into doing a Brembo brake upgrade for the front, as fitted to alot of the Ibiza Cupra Mk3s (I think...the ones made at the same time as the GTI). I beleive there are porsche calipers which also look the same

Has anyone ever done it to a Polo...seeing as the Ibiza has almost identical hubs, it shouldnt be too hard.

Thanks

Alex

BBS RX2s in a 16" will clear them fine :)

I Do believe all that is involved is getting brackets bought/made for the caliper, and then its a case a various amounts of 4 pots (Brembos) Will fit, but its spacer brackets you need

Yeh I think it's a bit of an effort for a standard engined GTi. Get on with the G40 8)
