guys dont know if im being stupid but can u remove the gaiter from the standard gear knob? Was trying to fit new gear knob today and couldnt get the gaiter of

hi mate, yeah gear gaitors come off, all i did was pull it from the surround at the bottom and it came off, i just need a new gear nob now lol,

so if i just pull it off the gear knob at the bottom u think it will be fine?

i mean i just pulled it from under the surround bit... ive circled it on the pic if you can see it

i removed the bottom of the gaitor fine i mean when it is actually attached to the gear knob:(

once that leather surround is up, there is a clip that holds the knob in place.

i just ordered a new one lol
