i havent had this problem befor but i moved my car this morning to find a little pool of gearbox oil! is this going to be a big problem or will it be a seal that needs replacing?
it did this on my other polo then the gearbox went!

how do you know it was gearbox oil?
usually gearbox oil is pretty clean after use and engine oil is black. If you think you're loosing oil, its best to top up the gearbox and see how much you put in, because once you run out, its bye-bye gearbox. there has been a recent post on this in the mk3 section on here. If the seal needs replacing, Im guessing that its a specialst job anyway, but the only way to know will be to find the source of the leak
