I was wondering if there was anyway for me to keep the stock headunit in the car and get and iPod AUX fitted? If possible, what do I need to look for?

Thanks for that. I did some research, general consensus is that the adapter itself isn't so good. As you have to preset playlists and can only play limited songs, and not select and chose like I wish to.chewy wrote:http://www.volkswagenaccessories.co.uk/ ... =1K0051444

OEM iPod integration on the stock Gamma HU is s**t. I'd get (and did get) something aftermarket from the likes of Pioneer or Alpine.

I also looked at the VW supplied adaptor but decided to keep the cash and go for an Alpine headunit with the full iPod interface!
