Unless you scour a couple of breakers or something comes up on eBay - then not that I know of personally. I haggled with my Dealer and they were able to give me a discount.

To the OP, which type of cubby box are you trying to get - ie the original open tray that is fitted on top of the dash, or the closed box that replaces it, or the trinket tray that is a single DIN sized and fits above/below the radio. I reckon that its the closed box that fits on top of the dash and if so looking in a scrappy for one will take years as this part was not fitted standard to any cars coming to the UK (I think). Ebay was where I bought one for my wife's car about 5 or 6 years ago - but as usual with ebay, you only see things when you are not looking for them as they come in fits and starts - probably when VW dealers were allowed to "dump" NOS that was not selling - and the very reason that things like these cubby boxes were a total failure was due to most people not knowing that they existed until they appeared on ebay!

Edited so that it read properly!!

A couple of warnings about these cubby boxes, first they cause the dash to make even more creaking noises - maybe the hinges need greased every year or so - and if you run over a "bad" pothole, the lid pops open! But they do finish off the look of the dash - that was the reason that I bought one for my wife's car. She on the other hand does not like it one bit, she found the standard tray much more useful - which is a pity as she does not know how to replace it! So, as long as I have any thing to do with it, it stays fitted but I must admit empty and unused - but looks good!

FWIW never had any issues with our Cubby Box. One of the best MODs for any Polo9N IMHO :)
