Wires + Controls/Switches for GTi heated Seats!

Hi all, i havent posted for awhile, since writing off my car .....

I have an unused wiring loom for the leather seats that come on those special Polo GTi's!

I have the wires, the controls that go into the dash, (there from a used model) and the electrical circuit diagrams.

I suppose its ideal for those who have the brought the Leather seats for their car, without the "heated seat" accessories!

Im not too sure has to how to fit it, was going to get it done on my old car, but never got round to do so!

I think it would need some in the know to fit them, its probably not great for this weather, but would be handy in the winter!!

The wires cost me £60 and the controls are worth abit too, i believe its something ridiculous from dealers!.....Im open to sensible offers!

Hi,thanks for the offer, ive just been on the phone to dealers, just to find out how much this would cost, for some sort of guide price for me!
They broke it down as (feel free to enquire, because i was stunned myself!) :

The wiring loom, is not available from dealers at all! (I brought mine from Germany, as i knew they dont stock it here)

However, the shock was the switches/controls!! There £64.96 EACH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have both sides, i.e drivers and passengers!!

So thats £189ish (with the wires!)

In terms of price i want £70 (includes delivery), which i think is fair!

It took me forever to locate these parts, as there virtually impossible to get hold off!

Hi, Im intrested in these. But what I need to know is if they are plug and play with a GTi that didn't have heated seats from the factory. I think the main wiring loom may be different for cars that where speced with the heated seats when new, to those that did not. If you can confirm these will simply plug into my car and leather seats them I'll taken them for £70.

Hi Neil, as far as i know it isnt plug and play, i think it needs to be connected to the fuse box, it does require someone that has electrical know-how to do it, im sorry im not sure if that answers your question.

You are correct in saying that. You will need a live feed for it to work and the seats will require the heating eliments as they don't come fitted with them unless the car had heated seats originally.

Hey thanks for the replies, yeah just to clear up, these wires are ideal for anyone who has the MK5 Polo GTi leathers put into there car and have no heated seat accessories. As far as i know the Polo GTi leathers have the element built in them and can be found under the seats, some sort of plug.
