Interior Air Vent

Post by JTLondon »

More specifically the passenger side air vent.

Just wanted to know if anyone knows how to take out the part of the air vent that swivels and goes up and down?

Rotate the vent fully over to the left.

Push in the right hand side (like the exposed side of the vent) so it sort of bends in the middle.

Then literally just pinch the middle verticle line of the air vent and pull it out.

Generally just rip it out lol. Sorry if you cant understand. ~

Essentially, rotate fully to left, pull out.

I basically just followed this!
Though, the head moves up and down and its the "blinds" that moves the air from left to right. So I pushed it as far upwards as I can hoping the head would pop out, but the whole vent came out.

The you have to follow the removal instructions similar to here

Thanks again, I would have otherwise tried hooking the head out from behind and probably broke it as the head part only comes out backwards, so the whole vent needs to be taken off.
