Got a quotation from Demon Tweeks in Wrexham for a Cat-Back Powerflow exhaust system with BM performance Cat.
They are also going to fit my Raceland Manifold at the same time so all in all they have quoted me £515.00 (including VAT)
Thats including all labour charges etc.. which I thought isnt too bad at all. The BM Cat is £195 on its own so I am pretty pleased with that quotation. I would like to have a full De-Cat but the Police are pretty hot on your heels around here so I opted for the performance Cat.
Powerflow offer several different tailpipe options but can't decide what to go for, I was hoping to go for the R32 style exhausts but decided against it in the end. Just wanted to know what people think looks best on the back of a GTI?
I was thinking twin pipes instead of single but still cant decide.
Has anybody got any pictures of their exhaust's so I can see for myself???
Cheers

Hidden can work well but I think I would prefer a tail pipe on show
Anybody got any pics of a few Gti's with aftermarket exhausts??

Re: Exhaust Backbox/Tail Pipe
I had this problem when I got my exhaust, couldn't decide which tailpipe would suit it. I was going to cut the bumper and get a single round pipe, but couldn't be bothered with the hassle. So I gave up. I think the double pipe looks ok, but like tegwin said... Hidden FTW.

Re: Exhaust Backbox/Tail Pipe
Mine is hidden. Best way to have it IMO but that last picture above is pretty neat, tucked up tidily against the bumper cut-out.

Re: Exhaust Backbox/Tail Pipe
Does anyone ever get the question of ''why don't you have a tailpipe''
I get asked all the time why my exhaust is louder than normal, I explain that it's a powerflow, and they look at me stupidly and ask why there's no tailpipe.. Idiots.
Looking at them pics though, I'm quite pleased I have no tailpipe, I really don't think the polo suits it, well maybe the double pipe.

Yeh double pipe does look good. But hidden is better. Plus it would sit considerably lower than standard if twin, and I struggle enough as it is.
