brake light switch
Seems this is causing my flashing glowplug light issue....Where do I locate it on the car please.
Re: brake light switch
Hi, brake light switch is found under the brake pedal arm, inside the car (Should be about 2/3 rds of the way up).
Cheers,
Col.

Re: brake light switch
Cool so not too hard to get too hopefully. Seems to have started working again now for some strange reason. Might get a switch anyway just in case its on its way out.

Re: brake light switch
Yes it is a good idea just to change it NOW as when it fails you probably don't have any brake lights showing when you brake - and that could be dangerous!
Edit, sorry I see that you knew all this!

Re: brake light switch
one way to check brake light switch, worked for me, on 1.9 tdi polo press accellerater pedal to about 3000 revs, press brake pedal with left foot, if revs dont drop its the switch
