^^ Looks great BUT still not legal :(

After Jarno pointed out the height I realised your motors too high too! Believe you should go as low as possible for the roads you drive on. :idea:

Is it legal if you opt for the GB side strip with the German Fälschungserschwerende Schrift font, or is it the actual font that's illegal? :?

No to qualify for legal plates, your plates must have the UK legal font, legal spacing and sizing, be reflective, no illegal branding (i.e D band, fancy backgrounds, playboy pictures, german stickers, symbols etc), they must have the postcode of manufacture, and be white up front, yellow on rear.

That's the general jist of BS AU 145d standards.

cheers. i do agree it needs to go lower! but ya car starts rattlin like f**k inside :(

But you do get rewarded by having better handling with the lower center of gravity. Just don't go excessively low which will probably ruin things.

I like it at the height it is, thats how i want mine, at least at that height the car looks like it isnt on stillts witout compremising ride quailty!

cheers lol its on coilovers at the moment and the ride quality is still pretty good, coilovers cost me £40 on ebay so keep a look out for them! think its currently 30mm at front and 40mm at the back(might be the other way round) but it does need lowering more at the back to make it level.

thats before i got it lowered it now sits -70mm all round 8) and it now sold swapd for project stealth:D

thats my old mk2 coupe S polo down -70mm didnt get round to changing the tyres (bought them like this)

and heres my 6n fully down as low as coilies can go at the front inch more at the back i think :lol: would lower it more but ive got high speedbumps in my street u have to go over them cant go round :shock:
