When it comes to light on my car, I must admit that I'm a bit anal... They must work proparly.
The other day I noticed when i reversed up to a a window to park that one of the LED's in the spoiler brakelight didn't work.
So today I decided to take a look at the problem, and startet to remove the braklight.
The two torx screws was easy enough. But then i saw that the connector/plug for the brakelight sits inside the spoiler. Unreachable for any humans.
So how on earth do i remove it completely so I can fit a new brakelight?
HELP!!! How do I remove the LED brakelight i my spoiler???

It might be a sealed unit, in which case... you may have to source a whole new one! Could be really quite inexpensive if you get one from a GTi being broken for parts. Try Trottagti, he has a nice little stockpile of parts

The spoiler has to be removed then there is a plug through where the normal brakelight would sit which you unplug, then you can remove the brakelight. This is a sealed unit bear in mind, and individual LEDS cannot be replaced.
