Spoke to my mechanic and he had a look and said its arc so will be pickin up an engine tomorrow :) :)

exactly that. however the engine is in a very bad way its alot cheaper just to buy a new one rather than rebuild it.
a couple of weeks ago we had a hell of a lot of rain, went through a massive puddle, basically a river and becuase my car is so low and the cold air feed for my bmc is in my wheel arch too much water got in to my engine aparently and wel.. broke it :( !
Unlucky, my mate did this in his Xsara VTS, but his cold air feed was right down at foglight level

well theres a whole in the block and the rods have snapped ive been told by my mechanic.. sure hes stil interested? lol
