As im new the new polo scene and still looking for the right one to come along to buy, thought i could ask a quick question as a new set of alloys and lowering will be the first thing on my list to do.
Does anybody know if you can lower the front and rear without messing around with the arches?
With my old peugeot 106 i had to roll the arches and maybe even put new rear arches on the back so i never got round to lowering it.
Just wondered if it was the same with polos? If so what is the biggest size alloy that you can have on it with the car being lowered about 50mm?
Sorry for all the questions, just curious lol
Alloys and Lowering...
Re: Alloys and Lowering...
You will easily be able to lower the car 50mm over the original 15" rims, no arch work required at all. The only time arch work really comes in is if you want to fit wide wheels, like 8"! You can 16" rims under the car and still lower it a good 60/70mm if the offset is right.
Re: Alloys and Lowering...
oh thats alright then
il have a look around then see if i can see any pictures of 16" wheels on a polo with it lowered!
