aye poorboys sealant is good. if you clean your wheels regularly though it doesnt last long, so i'd recommend putting a coat of hard wax on top of 2-3 coats or so of the poorboys stuff. then you'll be sailing 8)

If you've got the money, something like Dodo Diamond White. Aside from that you've got Collinite #476s, Collinite #915 Marque D'Elegance and AutoGlym HD wax as examples.

All of those would go nicely for your paintwork, and work as a final seal for your wheels too.

TBH I have no idea, I just wanted the green dust caps ha. Apparently it's what Kwik fit do nowadays.

Nitrogen doesn't escape as quickly as the regular air, so no need to check quite so often and I read somewhere that the pressures are less prone to vary when the tyre heats up / cools down.

Ta daaaa... Wheels are finally finished and back on the car!!

After near enough a month after starting them I finally finished them and got them built back up on Tuesday just gone. Got the tires on and wheels fitted on Wednesday.. Whoop whoop. So, so chuffed with them, mega happy. There's not much difference in the look of them really, just the fact that there's no yacky black parts on the rim no more! More of a difference to myself than anyone else. Done it all myself, other than taking/putting the tires on, and building them back up because I have no tools at all. I'm well proud of myself.

Took some pics last night, bit crap but here you go..

Gone from this... (By far the least corroded wheel!. LOL at the tires - 50's. PIc was taken a few months ago)

and how it stands 8)

Need to get some new BBS centre caps as well to set them off. Still got a list as long as my arm to do but money is a very tight at the mo. It needs two sensors to get the eninge check light off, Lambda and camshaft  . So, I'm thinking of taking it off the road when the tax runs out at the end of the month, for a while till I get it sorted. Probably won't but the idea is there.

Nice one Emma, they looks loads better plus, think of the money you saved in doing them yourself and not taking them to a refurber! :)
