dont know if there was anything so wrong with orange indicators on a red car, but those tints make it look nice and mean, and match the wheels

yeh its suprising how much of a diff a set of 1/2 tinted lights can make.

Have you thought about black badges? I think they would look better what with the black wheels/windows/top of bumpers..
My GT came with a black vw emblem, but as my Polo badge was looking a little tatty I T-cut the silver off it!
