Car is coming off the road at the end of the month for a while and will be living in my sisters garage.. I'm wanting the calipers green - That'll be my next 'mod'
I wrote up a list of things that I wanna do to it last night, alotta things to do to get it how I want it. Whilst it's off the road I'm gonna sort the sensors out, get it running all fine and dandy, bits of bodywork that needs doing and just little touches to make it mine. So should have more updates coming soon hopefully.

Proper good, shows what you can do DIY, also thinking the seat rims look well smart but ofcourse the BBS look better, sits nice too, how did you find painting the front badge? what paint did you use? gloss? thats next on the list of my mods i think, started sanding it down, just need to buy paint and laquer now.

Thanks. The front badge was a doddle. I used halfords gloss black. Make sure you lacquer it.

Well near enough one year on and the polo is off the road due to unforeseen circumstances. It now lives in my sisters garage. Bit gutting really, but has to be done.

No real updates though, however I did go to my local VW the other day to get prices for some bits, including the sensors I need. Was very surprised with the prices really, not as expensive as I thought. So plan is to get that stupid management light off, get some bodywork done, nothing major, and just get it how I want it before it comes back out.

The only thing the car has got going for it is about 11months MOT. It'll be a fair few months till it comes back out. I really don't need a car, and I think it needs a well earned rest from doing roughly 21k since I've owned it!

Well after months of no updates.. Here's a massive one..

Haven’t really done much to be honest. Bought some wheels and some little bits and bobs, but nothing major..

(EXCUSE THE DIRTINESS BY THE WAY!!)

Exterior updates

• New style MK4 Golf GTi anniversary badges – Front and back.

Image

Image

• Mirror cap now back to silver

Image

• Polo 9n rear wiper & scirocco aero wiper

Image

• Genuine headlight protectors

Image

• Xenon style number plate bulbs - No pics, because it's not dark, haha

Interior Updates

• Audi TT pedals

Image

• New front GTi mats - No pics
• Rear rubber mats - No pics
• GTi sill protectors

Image

• Xenon style interior bulb

Image

Novelty Items (because I’m a geek) 8)

• VW CD holder

Image

Image

• GTi pen

Image

• New key fob badge

Image

• Various pin badges.

Image

Wheels

• Aluline Turbine Cups – 15j x 7j ET25 - Originally I was going to fully mirror polish them...

When I first got them... After about a 1,000 years of storage..

Image

Before..

Image

After a bit of rubbage

Image

One finally nearly done

Image

A before and after... Looks miles better, aye?

Image

So yeah, I got fed up of the polishing idea... So the primer commenced.

Image

Then came the first colour... Audi Daytona Grey......... B)

Image

Few more coats of lacquer to go

Image

Second colour.. After the first coat of 816 silver... :)

Image

One wheel is full done - Just need the centre cap done. Not gonna show full pictures until they're on the car. Hopefully they'll be on by the end of July! :)

So yeah, that's it.

I like what I see :D Good work emma!

Am loving that generation pin badge :P where was it from?

Your TT brake pedal, unless you have fixed it, its not mounted properly. Common problem with these as the centre stud is a little firm and requires a bit of wiggling in the right places to get it onto the pedal so the side rubbers fit properly.

Badge was a present lol. Don't tend to ask where presents are bought from, but it's so damn cool. I just wish it had the GTi bit on.

TT pedals are fixed too btw :)
