Love it. You need to get a black interior rear view mirror though. And IMO it need the standard GTi grill with the VW badge.

Looks awesome though! Top job for being 18!

Nice lookin motor buddie,

Think u need to do the mirror bases white aswell or all of it grey like the roof and the other roof strips aswell to finish it off nicely,

How are you planning to insure this modified gti???

Welcome to the site mate :D another Welsh GTI 8)

Nice looking motor, looks the business. That's the second white GTI I have seen now and I think it really suits the car.
I really do like the Ronal LS wheels as well.

Glad to see you have got rid of that awful Bin Lid exhaust.

I think the grill looks spot on with the bonnet filled, suits it really well with the colour

Looks good in white 8)

I agree with Emma, a black interior rear-view mirror is needed, ideally. I got mine for about £40 from my local dealer, its a Lupo GTi satin black item.

Good to see that GwentVW are still going strong. I bought my coilovers from Saj - two and a half years ago now! Time flies :)

I see you blanked over the headlight washers for the xenons - just a thought, but that could cause complications MOT time, as they are a legal requirement for OEM xenon headlights.

As quoted from the law from the DfT :
In practice this means:

1. The headlamp unit (outer lens, reflector, bulb) shall be type approved to ECE 98 and be "e-marked" to demonstrate this. That can only be done by the headlamp supplier - Hella, Valeo etc. who must test the headlamp in an independent laboratory.

2. Once fitted to the vehicle it must have headlamp cleaning and self-levelling (which can be for the headlamp or can be in the vehicle suspension - some expensive estate cars have "self-levelling suspension" and that is adequate). Also the dipped beam must stay on with the main beam.

3. The headlamp must be maintained in good working order, kept clean, and aligned/adjusted correctly like any other headlamp.

Thought that was if they were fitted afterwards, suppose he could say it was an aftermarket kit - how else would half the guys running FK powerlooks get away with MOT on their 6n's which don't come with washers?
