Welcome to the site

Firstly, you dont need to write in capitals - we are capable of reading lower case

As for the car, sometimes you do find cheaper models, but these can be the victim of Cat C/D write offs, or general body damage that has been repaired, or have an underlying engine problem such as a cv joint, gearbox, pedal box, or clutch, so bear this in mind when looking at a cheaper example.

If its on 82k, theres a good chance the gearbox (if its original) is coming to the end of its working life so you need to take that into consideration mate.

Seems reasonable to be honest. I was actually browsing at random examples on ebay and a lot are going for more than 3k. Must be holding their value well again

Silly cheap, but don't be put off. some people just don't know the value of their cars. As Alex said keep everything in mind, and give it a good scope out inside and out.
