My Polo is being EMO, and has deadlocked its passenger door

Right this is really pissing me off now. The N/S door lock has been on and off working for a while now but its now decided it going to deadlock its self shut so it wont open at all. Does anyone know a way of getting the c**t open and its doing my head in?
