Hey there, the PD100 turbo only flows upto 150 BHP (albeit, it's probably struggling a bit at this point...). The injectors aren't quite maxed out yet, I'm not sure exactly when the injectors get maxed out (check out TDIclub.com), but I'd hazard a guess that they're good for ~165 or so BHP.

I'd upgrade the turbo to a GT1749VA or a KKK KP-39 of a PD130, which should be good upto ~200 BHP. But that'll outflow the stock injectors for sure...you may wanna look at getting some PD130 injectors which are good for 200 BHP when combined with FMIC/exhaust or ~180 BHP with the stock SMIC and exhaust.

Ash :)

I'd drop a PD 150 engine in & map it - 200BHP there from a good engine.... then play with it more if you want to...

You do realise the only differences between the PD100 and PD150 are injectors, turbo and the FMIC (which is rubbish anyway)....(OK, the PD130s have oil squirters in the head, PD150s have different crankshafts which are more fragile and some other differences which I cba listing). A PD100 can reliably make over 220 BHP with the right mods. Why would you want to swap the whole engine?

I was under the understanding that the injectors & the turbo were different on the PD100, since the turbo seems only to be good to flow up to 150bhp & the injectors 160bhp (this is from what I've read) so, I was working on the basis that if a different turbo was £450 & injectors £250 ? Making £700 plus then a custom map at my local tuners rate of £500 for a full custom map.... & I know where there's a 150 engine plus everything you'd need & it's a runner for £500 then a standard map for alot less! oh & I'm SO sorry for voicing my opinion.....

You also have to weigh up whether you'd want a massive turbo to spin up surely?
