Supercharging the 9N Polo
A Polo has got a high compression (10,5:1). Without adjustments to the engine to lower that compression I garantee you that the engine will blow.
A friend of mine had a Volkswagen Lupo 1.4 16V 75 HP. He added a turbocharger which boosted the poweroutput to 120 HP.
After 2500 miles the engine stopped working. A look under the bonnet revealed a huge crack in the lower part of the engine. It was just torn apart.
So, to make a turbocharger work you should lower compression first.

The "supercharger" you are reffering to isn't the same as a conventional turbocharger of course.
The advert promises a lot. But I'm very suspicious. The price is even lower than a 57i kit from K&N.
10,5:1 is nearly the perfect compression to detonate fuel.
When adding a turbo the compression will rise to >15.
So you have to lower the mechanical (10,5:1) compression to make some room for the pressure delivered by the turbo.
This can be done by mounting a metal headgasket sealed by 2 normal headgaskets on both sides of the metal one.
The best way to lower that compression is to install new welded pistons with a smaller bore. But that's very expensive.
