Here is my goodbye photo of the GT I have just part exchanged for a Mini Cooper Diesel.

5 years and 75k miles (at 52.5 overall mpg, yes I kept a record of all the fuel I put in the car) of mostly fun as our runabout. Niggly faults and build quality were minor gripes.

I couldn't take the car in, even to a dealer, without giving it one last clean.

yep, it's having a face lift

rear lights, front lights, wings, bonnet, front bumper, GTi grill etc. Technically it should also be the tailgate as the glass is different, but the lights do fit, plus my tailgate has been lightened and i dont wont to re-do the graphics....
