Cleaned it up, put it on my car and MY GOD IT FITS!!! PROPERLY!!! I'm probably the only one who ever noticed, but my old bumper didn't fit properly on either side due to the clips being broken, particularly on the left hand side. This one fits tightly against the sides of the car, just like it should!
It's not in quite as good nick as my old one, but nothing a little TLC and LOTS of Autoglym can't solve! The other problem is that, as it's off a non-GT/G40 Polo, it's got no red pinstripe. I've taken the one out of the front bumper so they match, but it'll need a new set before the shows. I reckon it looks really bland without them.
Chuffed to bits though!
