polo 1998 1.4 16v model

Post by polo-liam »

rite my gf has a 1998 1.4 16v polo she has owned it for over ayear now. we had a look at it as the mot runs out in a few days and we noticed 3 thing that will need doing for the mot exshault is blowing, passenger side caliper will need replacing as when we replaced the pads the piston wouldnt go all the way in. i do have a spare one for it but not sure if its the right one. and also the steering rack gaitor has split. evrything else seems fine. tax and mot will run out in the next couple of days.
also the throttle body is playing up common problem. power locks dont work. thing in the boot doesnt work. all electric windows work and so does the electric mirros.
there is a few bits of rust some on the back arch soem on the passenger door and on the sills but just bubbles nothing really that bad.
interior is fine with no rips that i know of just need a clean. all gauges work fine. it has a twin back box on it sounds nice all but the blowing that aint that loud really. its been lowered on fk suspention 60mm i got told but i think the back is 50mm and the front is 60mm. 15 inch compotive alloys the 5 spoke white alloys wiv all good tyres on the them. bit of rubbing when u hit a bump etc. if u need any more information information please ask.

im looking for 550 ono.
