Basically, had a sidelight go out on me a while ago, then the other went, got another set of bulbs, put em in and hey presto, one works and the other still doest, tried switching bulbs etc etc, still nothing...
Took apart connecter bit where the bulb goes in and played around, nout!
Now i've been pulled for the 2nd time round for a light being out, he's specified which light it is and i need to get it fixed to sent of my defect form ASAP!
Any ideas whats up with it guys or what to do? I doubt one sidelight runs of a different fuse, right? Where does it earth?
Its on a 2002 plate 9N (MK6) Polo
Many thanks!

Do you have a multimeter to check the wiring?

it's an old trick with lights, having seperate fuses, they usually work diaganal, for safty, so you should always have a light working when a fuse goes. To get you through, just run a seperate wire from the good light across until you have time to track it down.
