seems a bit of a strange topic with some people saying it can be done on the gti and some saying it cant

Is it possible to retro fit cruise control to a polo 6n2 gti

If so is there anyone thats done it that could get some parts lists up and everything thats required

Yes it is possible. You need to speak to speak to VW and get the parts from them...

Installing them is fairly simple, you will then need the full version of VAG-COM to activate it...

Or I think VW were doing the entire thing for about £100

£100 is not bad at all in fairness,

I think they use the Cruise Control of the MK4 golfs but I could be wrong

A long time ago I heard that Awesome GTI were doing the conversion but VW also offer it. My folks had it retrofitted to their 07-plate Golf GT but it can be done on the Polo too. Requires a new stalk and activation via VAG-COM as per tegwin's post above.

To be honest for the sake of 100 quid its not to bad if you do alot of backwards and forwards miles, i will enquire into both
