So when finished, you'll have lost the mini-visor (which is as much use as a chocolate teapot) and all grab handles, right? I think the final look will be pretty cool indeed!!

You could, having removed the grab handles, spray them to match the new suede as closely as possible...

Yep spot on, and it's all finished mate! I'd done it before I posted them pictures up. I just didn't have a lens capable of getting a good shot of it all in (those current pictures were taken with a macro lens), as my Dad's current general lens is broken!

I'm getting myself a 500D this weekend though, so next time i"m home I'll get some pictures for sure!

I didn't want to spray the handles as the hinge wouldn't have come out perfectly, plus it could have worn away.

The handles won't be missed, plus it looks good smoothed 8)

Should be pretty much unique as well, as most owners keep the handles etc!

Aye, and it saves me £80s worth of OEM black handles. I did it in a non-permenant way too, so if necessary I can peel the suede back, take the blanks out and stick it back down!

Orite Tim just read about 37 Pages of WIP. After all the reading only one word describes this car...

...Stunning!!!

Keep up all the good work lad certainly one of my favourites nothing tacky. Subtle mods just the way I like to modify cars.

Quick overdue snap of my roof

Will be spraying the seals, getting a Lupo GTi light surround and golf black sunvisors when I have time and money!

Looking Good Tim,

Looks a top job and really sets the inside of the car off. I might have to do this myself next year.

Cheers! Umm I dunno, probably first try and cut some fabric to see how that goes. Worst comes to worst mask it up extremely well and paint it. I don't really know though :?

Im in the process off doin this and was goin to spray mine, i was going to do the bulk of it black like mask the sensor bits up then perhaps touch them in after with a brush, insted of spraying directly into/onto it??

I take it the grab handle recesses have been cardboarded over yeah??
