Flat Spots

Post by Adam »

Hello,

In the last few days i've noticed that i get flat spots between 2500 and 3500 rpm when i put my foot on the accelerator. i thought it was because of the pipercross induction kit i had on. So i took it of and put a panel filter in. happens a little bit now but not as much. anyone got any ideas?

hello mate, think i've sorted the flat spots. I plugged the beast into my dads diagnostics computer and it said my car was misfiring on cylinder 3. so i took the HT lead of and it was all corroded. I bought some direct from Volkswagen the genuine ones around £40 for 4. Not saying this is the same for you but it worked for me. Anymore probs just post a reply

Hehe

I had to buy a set of leads for mine last week as mine started misfiring on cylinder 3! How strange!

I got my set for 34 quid! All Red (Genuine). (thanks to Neil!!)
